Manufacturing Facilities
Forging
Forge shop is equipped with Pneumatic Forging Hammer of 5 Tons Capacity. Raw material heating facility is an LPG Fired heating furnace with Automatic Temperature Controller and Thermo couples. Installed capacity is 200 MT forgings per month of various ranges from 70 mm O.D. to 1000 mm O.D. & weight 5.0 Kgs. to 800 Kgs. from various grades of Alloy Steel, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Special Steel. Forge shop is supported by well-equipped in-house die shop (tool room).
Ring Rolling
Ring rolling forgings is a process used to manufacture rolled rings with the help of rolling mills. Facility included a Vertical Ring Rolling Machine and a Horizontal Ring Rolling machine.
Precision steel rolled rings are manufactured to closed tolerances which promotes minimum wastage of material and energy. The Pierced Blanks - First process of seamless ring rolling is produced on the Forging Hammer. These Pierced Blanks are heated above the recrystallization temperature and placed over the idler or mandrel roll. This idler roll then moves under pressure towards a drive roll that continuously rotates to reduce the wall thickness, thereby increasing the diameters (I.D. and O.D.) of the resulting ring. The seamless ring rolled forgings produces rings of a superior strength suitable for applications where enormous stress is applied on the Rings.
Heat Treatment
All kind of after forging heat treatment processes just like normalization, soft annealing, Annealing, Stress-relief annealing, Hardening and Tempering are carried out in our in-house Heat treatment shop. Heat treatment of forgings is carried out in LPG fired batch type furnaces with Polymer and Water bath for Quenching and Tempering. All furnaces for Heat treatment are equipped with automatic Temperature Control, measuring and recording instruments like Online Temperature Recorder, 1600* microscope, Hardness Testers etc.
Machining
We are equipped with Machine shop which includes Turning centres / lathes, Vertical Turret Lathe, Radial drilling Machine with high quality inspection instruments and facilities. Which gives better optimization in productivity as well as to get exact specifications demanded by our esteemed.
